A new road for Capinota Municipality!


In the last quarter of 2018, the Department of Road Infrastructure, carried out the Opening and Improvement Project of the Corral Mayu – Pirira K’asa Road, in the Municipality of Capinota (Cochabamba). This work consisted in the opening of 3 km of road that unite the communities of Corral Mayu and Pirira K’asa.

This project will benefit more than 260 inhabitants, who need the road to be able to count on all the services that their municipality can provide them: electricity, potable water, sewerage, and public transportation. The road will also allow the community better access to health services, education, and markets for local produce.

For the opening of the road, an excavator, a bulldozer, and a support van were used. The project was executed in 1.2 months (36 days) of work and completed on December 12, 2018.
